About Us

We, UpCal Co., Ltd., are a Fukui Prefecture-based startup that provides comprehensive support for the “recruitment, retention, and productivity improvement” of foreign talent to local companies (primarily in the manufacturing sector) struggling with serious labor shortages.

The era of factory managers being Vietnamese, site supervisors Indonesian, and executives Nepalese has already begun. However, most existing foreign talent services are limited to “mere matching (introduction)” or “automation of procedures,” failing to solve the fundamental challenges on the ground, such as “language barriers” and “retention.” We combine on-site consulting with our unique AI application to create a new standard of “multicultural coexistence” where all workers, regardless of nationality, can unleash their value.
